"The government can do it." Spoken like a true liberal......when are you going to understand government is a false god? Its that attitude that helped lead us to the Great Recession. Gov't plays an important role in this country's well being but Rs have spent decades trying to convince everyone that that's not true. And finally, under Bush, they proved how false that belief is.

If we need housing that developers won't build, it's preferable that the government build it than have people on the streets. At least to me. And cities like Seattle have found that it's cheaper in the long run to build small apartments for people than it is to deal with them being on the streets. -Z
