<As for the southern states experiencing the highest delinquency rates, that's pretty typical. The Rs that lead those states have managed to keep their citizens 'barefoot and dirty'. It been a long, proud tradition for southern, Republican states to be mired in poverty.<

But, the feature posted here earlier by Richard V. Reeves, from the Brookings Institution, in his Lego demonstration noted that some of the most debilitating issues that keep AA's from upward mobility was the the lack of a role model of a father figure, a stable two party adult support group. It's an easy scapegoat to blame others than to turn ones finger back on themselves.

The States with the lowest delinquency rates, Alaska, Utah, Wyoming are also Red States, do the R's there also keep there citizens "barefoot and dirty"?
