Comments from a long-time lurker:
1. No one should be too concerned with daily price movements. I
am employed at a money mgt. firm. We speak to MM's frequently
during the day. They themselves are slow on the uptake with
changing their quotes. Quotes shown on Nasdaq Level II machines
are largely irrelevant.

2. I currently, and for the past two months or so, have seen an
amazing amount of skittishness about future prospects. People,
remember this is a very long term play - either have the courage
of your convictions or maybe it is time to take some profits.

3. There have been many stories recently about the development of fuel
cells. Apparently, one of the major stumbling blocks is the high
cost of platinum. Ten years from now the major world use of
platinum may be in automotive fuel cells. For further info on this,
see last week's business week and also check out the investment Ford
made this morning. This development makes it clear (at least to me)
that the platinum numbers will be more important than the gold
numbers.

4. My wife, who is generally fairly conservative, wants me to increase
our position in Naxos. What does this mean? :)

5. For the Wolverines on the thread: I increase your number by 1
