The basic fact is that as far as becoming a pleasant place to live, Israel is beaten. Complete malarkey - it's a great place to live and apparently thrive - they even have a growing tourist industry. So there just isn't enough room for a reasonable DMZ. Nonsense - there is no required DMZ size - you make all of Gaza a Demilitarized Zone - go house to house and remove all the weapons you can then bring in UN forces to keep the place clean. the Palestinians would just use it as a battle ground That's what it is now, including bomb and rocket production. I really don't see a solution for them. Make peace with Israel and stop being stupid.
