I think the question you want to ask is "Do you want to live?" Because I think most cops fire because they genuinely feel their lives are at risk. It may seem silly afterward, but unlike us, their lives are on the line, and they never know when they will be outgunned by people who have even less respect for human life than you think they have.

The problem with cops is that some of the worst bullies want to be cops. Good police departments attempt to screen them out. It's not a good idea to give bullies guns, legal authority and the protection of the community.

I owned a few condos in a development in which you had to go thru the Fort Laurderdale police dept to reach. One way in and one way out. It is bordered by The North Fork New River on the back side with gators. This part of Fort Laurderdale is called the jungle with excellent reason. Do you think this condo community got robbed?
