What were parents doing driving their 9 year old out into the desert to a gun range for the explicit purpose to fire an Uzi for hire? You had "consenting parents" who drove the girl to the gun range. You had a "consenting instructor" who placed a fully automatic assault weapon into a 9 year olds hand. Somewhere, one of these adults should have come to their senses and said.. "Wait, is this really a safe thing to do?" Lots and lots of stupid decisions by stupid consenting adults regarding a minor. Poor decisions usually led to poor results. I am used to an adult teaching a youngster things like math, science, arts etc. I suppose the instructor received his Divine punishment. I can't begin to comprehend that level of stupidity. This American fascination with guns keeps getting worse and worse. And nothing, absolutely nothing, seems to stop it.
