As a former Apple Genius I'd love to see these people making a living wage.

Most make somewhere in the neighborhood of $18 an hour which is low in the Tech World especially with Apple charging us $75 per hour for repairs or more.

Everything can't always be about the Corporate bottom line because without quality Employees there is no Quality Customer Care!

What I was specifically referring to are the contract workers in Silicon Valley, the janitors, drivers, security people, etc.

In any event, the absolute amount of cash Apple is spending on the dividend this year is not going up much, if any. It is all due to the reduced share count.

They will benefit from being represented by a labor union, absolutely they should organize.

In the meantime, please post a study comparing the wages of Apple store employees to other retain employees, by geographic region. Once you do that, we can discuss.

I will await your data.
