Well, heck. I guess you were "non-productive" back then. But, it seems like the "banner" was fairly non-productive himself, if it took him 5 months to issue the ban. It's almost like he was looking for something ... ANYTHING ... to give him justification for the ban. Imagine that! At least you weren't banned for "idle banter", like I was. That's insulting. There was nothing "idle" about it. Pretty active, really. And, I still don't know how many "numerous" is. Seven? Twenty three? One thousand two hundred and eight? And, if those "numerous" SIers didn't like my posts, why didn't they just put me on ignore? You know, the more I think about this, the more I think there was some kind of personal vendetta against anybody who wasn't in favor of certain "New Features". Imagine that! Sure is a pretty day. All one has to do is look at the times of certain posts and the times of the bans by Dmitry to see that he was looking for excuses to do the bans. The only surprising thing to me is the comical clumsiness with which he revealed his lack of ethics. I think the criticism of his "improvements" must have left him so emotionally distraught that he couldn't think rationally. I'll give the circumstances of my ban to provide undeniable proof of my assertion. The gist of my reply was that, considering the "enhancements" that had already been made, I wasn't optimistic about the upcoming "improved" version. My post would have been made between the times of 12:03 PM and 12:23 PM. I didn't pay much attention to the ban when it was first issued. I assumed that was the post for which I was banned. If there was, surely someone would have already killed off this present day SI abomination by setting up a site that resembled the pre-Craig SI site. I would love to move to a better investor site. Sadly, this is as good as it gets. Message 29666271 Of course, the ban was issued at 12:23 PM on 8/12 so that's either the very strangest of coincidences or Dmitry did an incredibly sloppy job of hiding the fact that he had an agenda. Despite what my profile says, I've been a member of SI since last century, and I've had a few "dust ups" with SI Admins in the past. No matter the issue and no matter the resolution, I always respected the professionalism the admins displayed. This time is different. Dmitry let his emotions override his integrity. It's very difficult to regain lost respect, and I don't think his ego will ever allow him to take the steps necessary to do it. That's a shame.
