I don't remember who it was but someone on this thread explicitly asked me to say when I covered my COMS short.

I just covered all of it at 34 1/2 and hope for another rally so I can re-short it again at higher levels.

Sorry if this has been rehashed here ad nauseum, but will ADSL modems retain their speed if connected via USB? Intel is coming out with an ADSL for USB connectin in '98. Is the coms modem for USB or is it on the motherboard. Thanks for the info. Still long coms.

ADSL is presently limited to 10,000 feet from the central office switch. I live in
Ann Arbor, MI a relatively small town and I am too far from the switch for
Ameritech to hook me up. The RBOC's are going to have to reconfigure much of
their networks before everyone will be able to hook up.

I understand this problem. I am also familiar with Ann Arbor. The local RBOC would have to reconfigure here too.
