The Federal Reserve has shown themselves to be irresponsible lunatics for the last fifteen years. It is impossible to bet either for or against the general financial markets. There's no baseline, no measuring stick. It's all a casino with Monopoly money. Not a place for a sane person to try to make money. I am holding enough cash for most possible emergencies and turning my attention to more rewarding investigations, such as the ultimate outcome of the Universe or how to grow tomatoes.
