Well you put the hammer on the nail...

I'm personally sort of amazed at how many people stare into their screens it seems like all the time. It may jupst be perception... but even though I have a reasonably loud blaster and bright LED lights, if I wasn't extremely vigilant riding my bicycle at the Pacific Beach boardwalk I'd be ramming unaware dumb walkers constantly... one really has to be careful and what is really weird is some people seem to be resentful when woken up from their dream... of course I flash my lights only when necessary and its to protect wandering dumb walkers but some seem a bit peeved...

this is a new phenomena. People used to walk the boardwalk to enjoy the air and sunset. It really is new and its a new paradigm... the unawareness paradigm. Its seems like people are more and more conditioned to exit the real world constantly...

I wonder if this isn't contributing to the growing resentment of tech workers and by association heavy phone users. San Francisco is just the start I think.
