I'm uncomfortable throwing around adjectives like racism. For instance, my guess is that the present worst offender on the forum is Pogue whatever. But I read him/her more as simply an immature trouble maker (though some of the comments are troubling) than a "racist". I remember posting vigorous criticisms of Israeli west bank housing policies on the old foreign policy forum, only to be accused of anti-semitism by Nadine Carroll. Just a silly, ugly way to cut off conversation. So I'm trying to stay away from similar comments on the Ferguson issues writ large nationally.
