It's been a while but I loved my 5 or 6 visits to Europe from 2001 to 2006... mostly to Spain... Barcelona, Costa Brava, one visit to Pomplona for the "running of da bulls"... did a trip to southern France, Monaco so much fun... fun down to earth people in Spain... as for France I can see where the stereotype comes from for them being a bit "snooty", lol... but still fun trip as for places that have the best food... hard to beat right here at home in NOLA, and the culture is very diverse and eclectic... the high crime rates are designated to certain areas that are easily avoidable
