you cannot be clear on hong kong because you do not know what the issues are

so let me be clear

the treaty between china & britain re hong kong was clear, 50-years no change
no change means "no change"
however hong kong's political and civil servant leadership were done is done and shall be done
only that beijing replaces london

the hubbub in the media concerns two groups of folks
group 1 - occupy central (meaning shut cbd down to make some political gain)
group 2 - anti-occupy central (meaning whatever politics maybe, do not shutdown cbd)

the usual suspects of media makes it out to be
group 1 - for democracy
group 2 - against democracy
even as both groups prefer hong kong select hong kong leadership

hong kong does select hong kong leadership, except for the chief executive, who in the good old days were appointed by london, and in these wonderful days are appointed by beijing, all per 50-years "no change"

was i clear enough?
