I heard about this event, but did not wanted to post as not to be classified as extremist. During WWII the NKVD had units shooting any one who retreated from the front or arbitrary killing prisoners en.wikipedia.org en.wikipedia.org - During World War II, NKVD Internal Troops units were used for rear area security, including the deterrence of desertion through Stalin's Order No. 270 and Order No. 227 decrees in 1941 and 1942, which aimed to raise troop morale via brutality and coercion. In liberated territory the NKVD and (later) NKGB carried out mass arrests, deportations, and executions. The targets included both collaborators with Germany and non-Communist resistance movements such as the Polish Armia Krajowa. The NKVD also executed tens of thousands of Polish political prisoners in 1939–1941, inter alia committing Katyn massacre. Today, IMHO the problem now is Germany Italy and France who oppose to send defensive combat gear to Ukraine, and France refusal to stop delivering the Mistral assault warships. It is clear as day that those ships will be used for invasion if of Ukraine or of Georgia It will take at least 2 years IMHO to finish building LNG terminals in Europe, until then Russia can do as it wishes if not stopped now.
