BTW, "its" management signifies ownership, not "it's management", which is a contraction of "it is". re: It is completely obvious to many here that your opinions aren't shared by the Owners. It's obvious to me, too. re: If they were there would be movement in the direction you suggest they go Are you sure about that? re: I'm certainly not going to give any more time than it took to post this message Okey-dokey re: why are you trying so hard to make many of ours less than the same? Actually, I'm trying to help SI by providing feedback on their decisions, and suggesting ways to improve the overall user experience. I started out being polite, because I spent a career in big bux software development and I know how difficult it is to keep your user base happy.Message 29084001 I hadn't even posted here for almost a year prior to that post. I was reading, but not commenting, because I was occupied on another forum. It was during the time period right before that post that SI user sentiment started going South. There were some not-so-bright decisions that were made, especially related to the long term users. I even supported the same concept you are suggesting, which is ... if you don't like it, go someplace else. But, at that time, I still had hopes that management would be less likely to implement changes that most users would dislike. As you can tell from feedback on this and other threads, I was wrong. There have been MANY problems that degraded the usability and/or the performance of this site, and ticked off a loyal user base. Everybody makes poor decisions along the way. That's to be expected. But, rejecting valid user input is NO WAY to foster a good relationship between the company and its loyal users . The attitude of the people responsible for making this the best investor forum on the planet sux. That torques my jaws, as well as a few other folks who have supported SI for many years, way back when it was the top of the heap in investor forums. I think the changes that were needed to keep SI alive and well (meaning, generate revenue) could have been done in a MUCH more palatable way. They screwed up. No doubt about it. Having witnessed recent events here, it doesn't appear there were any lessons learned from their experiences. What a shame. Sure is a pretty day (which is a basic philosophy on life, not a statement about the weather). TED
