Folks,
Technology is what drives the economy and semiconductor is what drives the technology, don't get nervous; this the opportunity that your are waiting for by spending so much time in this thread and following the stock. Analysts play their own game to make a living, everything is going to be fine; unless you believe this is the end of the world or you make your money by playing analysts games. After all, Lehman reduced the earning on AMAT and says "buy" with a 12 months price target of $63; this means with any improvements in the negative news that has caused the price to get to this level, that target price could easily go to $100. Also, remember that AMAT's price in second half of 1998 would be based on its out look in 1999.
