No kidding. Fine. I understand that we had to rescue them. But taking criminal charges off the table was not the answer. During the S&L debacle, at least a few went to jail. Probably not enough, but some.

Your characterization is a great exaggeration although I do agree when it comes to Goldman-Sachs execs and their complicity in the worthless mortgage fiasco.
