I enjoyed this collection of trivia about Rocky.

Fourteen Things You Didn't Know About 'Rocky'
yahoo.com

I often regret when I make posts like this publicly but since we're family here goes.

I recently told my 28 year old nephew there's a few good life lessons in Rocky - not so much the movie itself but the fact that an unknown writer/actor wrote the script, starred in his own movie, and essentially got the movie made his way is remarkable. It shows, that especially for a young person, one should always think big and not underestimate themselves.

I also enjoyed this line from the article, "I look at some of my interviews now and I wish I could go back and punch myself in the face." LOL. Who among us hasn't at one time or another wanted to punch themselves in the face? Love that line.

Right now I'm in one of those life-funks where I'm trying to decide if I just want to be comfortable or go for it. Maybe I'm too old to go for it. I dunno. Thinking out loud in public is dangerous. Never mind! I'm going to go punch myself in the face.
