I will point out that military bases are incredibly dangerous places. When I was in college the first time, I used to work summers for Tampa Coca Cola. McDill airforce base was commonly on the route I was given. When you stopped at the front gate, there was a prominent sign announcing "XX days since the last fatality on base". It was never more than two digits. And often only one.
