SB and MU Gang:
Well with an hour to go, it's good to see all the regular MU types are in attendance, and virtually all bets in place. Personally still in the Darth Vader camp on MU, but not participating on any short term bets with respect to this announcement. Will stay with the shorts that are in place and acceptably profitable, and confidently expect single digits by late Spring, but see no reason to bet the earnings announcement as the expectation has already been waxed and the stock is declining in a nice steady fashion anyway. The earnings bet risk as I see it is accounting shenanigans. Also, the tech sector is aching for a bounce, and the "buy-the-dippers" have not yet lost enough of their dough. There is a great deal of pressure on tech sector managers to "say something positive for goodness sake", and I suspect the spin will be significant. Any move up is just a delicious shorting opportunity.
