Hi Chinu, Begich is in big trouble. The amount of money the Koch Brothers are throwing at him is astounding. If I had to guess I think it will turn out to be too much for him. Exxon and big oil just spent a zillion dollars to get the people to vote a stupid tax cut for themselves and the people went along with it. The flooded the airways for months with propaganda that was nothing but pure lies. And it was lead by the Republican party which was really nuts. They cut off their nose to spite their face i.e. to get back at the dems they hate so much. I expect them to do the same with Begich. Alaska is an easy target for big money to affect. In fact the dem nominee for gov, just sort of gave up and is going to run as a LT gov behind a right wing independent. So we will have no dem nominee for gov in the race. As I keep saying, our society, has devolved into two waring camps, dems and pubs. That the pubs in Alaska were willing to give a billion a year away to the oil companies simply because the pub leaders wanted them to do it says it all. It will mean that much less money for the residents and it was totally unnecessary. It was plain old stupid.
