Just curious EKS or anybody here, are you still holding ARTW? I'm still holding my shares. I know by your post you are aware of AS. AS aside, I was surprised on the latest earnings report. I thought they were good, considering the slump by companies tied into the farming industry. The backlog going forward was also positive. AS IMO has positive implication possibilities going forward.

Security National Financial Corp. (SNFCA) upped my position by 25%

I originally started a position in this small cap company based on their hidden undervalued cemetery land asset. Security National Financial Corporation provides life insurance, cemetery and mortuary services, and mortgage loans. The company BV as stated on Yahoo Finance is $7.52/share and the PE is 11.

They service a very niche local market in Utah and provide many services including mortgage loans, life insurance and mortuary services. They had problems in their mortgage division w/ selling loans w/o proper documentation (ie liar loans) but all that was settled last quarter.

The company has modest long term debt that is covered by 3.89x it's annual net income. I believe the company is still at least 30% undervalued and have a price target of $8.00/share. The company has a market cap of only $75mln so any one of their divisions can move the needle. Revenues have grown every year for the last 3 years.

As a bonus, the company pays an annual 5% stock dividend in December. Seems like a good place to hide if/when the S&P 500 market corrects. My orginal position (w/ stock div) has an avg price of $4.44/share. With today's buy, my average cost is now $4.66/share.
