Jamie, Hutch, and All: I spoke with IR at sterling about 1 hour ago, and he assured me there would be a news release today!! I asked if it would be after market close, and he indicated yes. I was unable to get any hints as to what the news may be, his mood even seemed to be very controlled, so who knows what it might be. I agree with Jamie in regards to the volume not picking up at all. Its hard to believe that they have been able to keep things this quiet, but then again, if there is any company out there that must keep quiet, its CWA. This especially holds true, in light of the ongoing invesitgations with DML/NAI. I would have thought there would be a little runup just in speculation of good news, assuming that people knew the news was to be out last Friday or Today. Maybe people were just to cautious considering they have been stringing us along for months now. I keep going back to the idea of why they would not release the news on Friday, if it was not going to be favourable news. Would'nt Friday have been an excellent day to release bad news from CWA into the market? I mean how much worse could it have got on Friday. I am going to be the optomist this time around, and predict that we receive favourable news, after all it does make sense considering the timing. The only concerns I have is the lack of increased activity, and the fact that there is large amounts on the offer side. Do you really believe they could keep news that quiet? If the news had been bad, I could see it leaking, but if it is good, lord knows that management will want to play there cards very carefully. Well, maybe its time to check, the news might be out by now. Can anyone post the market depth at close today? Lets hope that by the time I get back, we will all be much happier, and wealthier (At least on paper).
