You're beginning to sound like Stockboy...

Your advice might be good advice - however, if you phrase it less preaching, people might be more prone to pick up on it.

An advice from heart: try to convince people they would want to buy something rather than making them feel inferior that they don't follow your advice.

Being able to live with opposition might also be a skill worth your looking into!
