Hmmm ... interesting. There seems to be some confusion even within those who make the rules. the board needs* a logo. We are asking all Moderators to update their board with a logo* Can someone explain to me why SI thinks we NEED a logo? Does a logo somehow lend credence to the posts? Does SI get paid by the number of MB transferred from their servers to a user's computer? I've been around computers since IBM was a pup, yet I don't remember any situation in the past where there was such a controversial topic that has no redeeming value whatsoever for the user. Tens of thousands of user oriented sites SOMEHOW managed to survive for decades without logos. Are logos "the next big thing" in computing, and SI is leading the way? ...
