Also you don't wear your credit card on your wrist (or bundles of money either)

It increases you risk level when you are in less than friendly neighborhoods. Or even certain friendly ones either.

Kind of like in Sim City and the inhabitants have those floating arrows above their heads. I wouldn't want one that advertises "here comes money!"

But the benefit of a watch as payment mechanism

comes if you can "sign" for your purchase with your fingerprint on the screen. If your watch gets stolen, it simply becomes a timepiece, not a debit card that can empty your bank account
