Yeah.....why aren't they buying the stuff? Should hold the price up unless they think it won't go through and wouldn't be worth $17.50....that's it!

Don- my guess is that they are waiting on the FTC decision. They cannot buy a controlling interest if the FTC says it is restraint of trade. They already have more than 50%, so it is a done deal. For a company like INTC to save a million by buying 1/2 a million shares in the open market does not make sense. They will get them all at the tender price or none.
