From your article, habits are hard to break. You will jump to any early conclusion that supports your ideology.

This "habit" excuse is insufficient to explain the rise in ER visits. If someone didn't have insurance before but now has insurance, why should he visit the ER more often if it's just a "habit"?

This is just more evidence that "ER care" was a myth. People with insurance tend to visit the ER more than people without insurance.
