There have been tons of shootings at Target Stores, but seldom INSIDE a store and probably NEVER by a person who carrying a weapon legally for self-defense. I've never heard of one at Panera Bread, although there might have been one.

This is not about any "need" for these policies -- that is just Benen making shit up. I'm certain it is about customers who are irrationally unnerved at seeing people walking around the store with their weapons. And perhaps an effort to limit legal exposure should something happen at a future date.

So, what exactly is he referring to about the policies being "necessary?"
