Did Apple ever say whether the watch had an OLED or LCD?

I heard flexible display but no details.

Yeah, second thought was how much will these cost and do I really need one!

Still they did a great job on this and it seems they thought it out before they put it out.

Will have to play with one as soon as I can.

The Watch looks nice, but at least for me, they havent yet sold me on why I want one.
It requires paring with the iPhone - isn't standalone - and Apple Pay doesn't appear to involve CC selection on the fly. I think this is a very large risk they are taking with these launches.
