Doren, I agree about the bands. You know there are people out there right now designing bands. There will be tons of them I bet. I'm sure someone will do some in gold or gold plate. I'd really like a rose gold one but 18k will do :-)

<This one is particularly cool. I was thinking the same thing while I was looking at the Watch part of the stream, which finally came back on after a while. I have a Skagen watch that has a band that is very similar and I just responded to the Apple Watch when I saw it. The one that you pointed out is the one I want. I think that we both have very good taste:)

Are those photos or AutoCad? I like the closure mechanisms and how you change bands. Definitely worth $349 but I expect the higher-end Watches to cost much more.

Annie, the watch bands are so cool people will buy more than one IMHO. Mostly women but men will buy more than one too. One for sports and one for formal wear. Of course - imagine the embarrassment if you are at dinner and the wine is a rare red Chardonnay and your iWatch strap doesn't match? Or you are to be knighted by the queen and you are wearing the plain gray strap - the controversy that will ensue! I'm not even going to mention what would happen if you wear the wrong strap when meeting with the Pope!
