You are sadly right about Canada. North of the Albany River even in
Matachewan, many parts of Ontario, Labrador, the NWT, BC, Saskatchewan are no places to start a mine. Geddes Resources, Cogema, Land claims settlement.. it's endless uncertainty and the Feds have fed that vision for the mine bashers for the last 30 years as they view mine development as a neandrathal process. It's time we out-lawed layers in the commons and provincial legislatures as they did in England for 1000 years.

Every case is on its own merits. It appears that mining has no merit except if it's owned by the "right" people.

I wonder if there is really any such thing as free enterprise anywhere.
