<<Not a bad prediction Sowbug considering the Nasdaq and AOL was in a nasty downtrend on its way to 81 when you prophesied...closed at 85. The question is Did you put your money where your mouth was?? <g> Good Luck

No, I was busy getting clobbered in CSCO. Shorted today @ 76 3/8, covered @ 72 3/4; then for some reason shorted again @ 72 7/16 and got so scared I bought Jan 80 calls to hedge.

But today's gyrations in AOL are more or less an instant replay of recent weeks. Lately it's been moving 4-5 points a day; just watch which way it's going and hop aboard. People feel strongly enough about this company (whether bear or bull) that it's like a constant tug-of-war, and it's rare for it to really get moving quickly in a particular direction far enough to hurt anyone.

So no real prediction; just observing patterns.
