One difference between IOM and RMIL. It is a huge one...THE INTERNET. The internet makes it almost impossible to pull off a squeeze, first of all everything is too planned out, second the MM's can easily read these threads and know what is up. IOM squeeze I feel hit the shorts blindsided, while this is so well planned... You think a MM that knows that shareholder are calling for certs is going to stay short? I do not think so.

Eric,
You're right on a point, The 'BIG' squeeze( splits, etc.) was later, but, like a volcano, there were tremors (squeezes), my contentions are the' dynamics', or the 'mechanism' of a short squeeze.
My issue, saying that IOM was a OTC stock (IOMG), was just to counter, the 'fundamental' arguement, and thru examples, demonstrate the 'mechanics' in application. How the market, bulls vs. bears, nays vs. yays, longs vs. shorts, were strategically maneuvering.
Chronologically, the 'squeeze' had reverberations relating to the tensions between bulls & Bears, Longs & Shorts, etc.....The reign of terror was most definitely a recent event, but again, is part & parcel to the legacy which got it to that point.
In understanding RMIL, its' important to note, that the calling of certificates can impede the mechanism of the squeeze, it becomes a numbers game, and the MM's need 'paper' to play!, Pugs
