"According to Matt Margolis, the problem was with the Chinese finishers working on Apple's Sapphire Glass (SG), and not with GT Technology. If this was a very late decision to not include SG in the latest iPhones because of quality issues with the finishers then I expect to see SG in later phone models. " What if the whole thing was based on a strategy to help Apple get better pricing for the screens. It is all about how they negotiated.
