The isn't reality just your perception. There are other perceptions.

And what isn't a perception was Intel's guidance that margins would be the same or slightly higher when the 4Q97 numbers are in.

Those perceiving lower margins are ignoring Intel's own advice and are also ignoring the lower costs that come with improved yields.

Intel is still very much a great buy and hopefully the bottom was reached but we'll see. After all, perceptions are what make a market.
