Not remotely close. I'll not post his mired of rantings that started in the beginning of the year about the legacy monoply telco. Although I can name 5 LD companies, the number of ROBC's and growing list of CLEC's that exist today. His reason for higher speed connection to the denizen of computing sheep is simply so he can sell at list price and eliminate shopping at discount stores. He wants to perpetuate reselling me his buggy software over and over again when I upgrade to new hardware. You see Maurice, you or I don't own that software we rented from Brother Bill, we are just paying for the privilege of being allowed to use it. Some how I don't agree with that. Notice how he is wooing the monopolist cable companies with financing. Gee, I guess monopolist can do business with one another. AT&T donated UNIX to universities........ hmmm, just a another money grubbing bunch of monopolist, according to the saintly Brother Bill.
