The drill program consisted of 11 holes, totaling 1,258 metres of diamond drilling. Highlights from the program include: Hole BN14-08 intersected 19.5 metres grading 0.33% Nickel (Ni ) and 0.012% Cobalt (Co) Hole BN14-04 intersected 18.2 metres of 0.30% Ni and 0.012% Co Hole BN14-12 intersected 86 metres of 0.18% Ni and 0.0095% Co Nine out of eleven holes hit nickel-cobalt mineralization Drill holes BN14-04 and BN14-08 intersected significant nickel-cobalt values and were designed to test the area around drill hole BN13-03, where last fall the company drilled 70 metres of 0.31% nickel and 0.012% cobalt. BN14-12, located approximately 6 kilometres to the south of BN13-03 , tested an airborne magnetic anomaly delineated earlier in 2014. Drilling intersected highly serpentinized ultramafic rocks from 99 metres to 185 metres depth (end of hole) containing 86 metres grading 0.18% Ni and is open at depth. Drill results summarized: Hole_ID From_m To_m Length_m Ni_pct Co_ppm BN14-04 12.8 31.0 18.2 0.31 120.5 BN14-05 36.0 54.0 18.0 0.11 116.5 BN14-06 70.9 82.8 11.1 0.10 73 BN14-08 27.0 46.5 19.5 0.33 124 BN14-09 36.2 50.1 13.9 0.15 95.5 BN14-10 20.1 26.1 6.0 0.17 93.4 BN14-11 34.0 44.5 10.5 0.20 97 and 54.0 93.0 39.0 0.16 86 BN14-12 99.0 185 86.0 0.18 95 BN14-13 17.4 26.5 9.1 0.20 103
* Note: Drill holes BN14-07 and BN14-14 hit no significant nickel mineralization. Gren Thomas, President & CEO of Westhaven stated, “This year’s drill program started by drilling coincident magnetic anomalies and IP (induced polarization) chargeability targets as this was the geophysical response of the initial discovery in 2013. Early drilling in this program indicated that IP responses are not necessarily confined to nickel sulphide mineralization, therefore subsequent drilling focused on the magnetic responses outlined by the recent airborne magnetic survey. Drill hole BN14-12, located over 6 kilometres to the south of BN13-03, intersected a long section of nickeliferous serpentinite in an area of no outcrop. Such intersections demonstrate that nickel bearing serpentinite is abundant on the property. Future drilling will focus on locating these zones and establishing the nickel sulphide content.” Thomas goes on to add, “We have just completed a detailed 122 line kilometer ground magnetic survey which was successful in defining multiple, magnetic anomalies for the next drill campaign." Ground Geophysics Westhaven recently completed a detailed 122 line kilometer ground magnetic survey to cover the Skelton Zone (31 line kilometres) and Cross Roads Zone (91 line kilometres). The purpose of this program was to better define the magnetic anomalies and the structural controls of the anomalies. Geological interpretation of both the drill and geophysical data is underway and will guide future drilling. On behalf of the Board of DirectorsWESTHAVEN VENTURES INC.
