I have occasionally spared with the libs for a long time. When we meet in person we find a lot of common ground. Yes totally agree. Of course the hard line radicals on each side unwilling to comprise on anything are hard to deal with. One perfect example is the tie in to energy, climate change and national defense.. Why can't we have an across the board common sense energy policy to get North America and Europe energy independent and free from depending on supply from the middle east? Have to be smart about the climate but we need more domestic production of energy from all sources and that includes oil, natural gas, nuclear, wind, solar, electric giving the new technologies the same breaks oil has always had. Instead we spend trillions fighting wars overseas that only line the pocket of defense contractors and Israel it seems while enabling and empowering more terrorists at the same time.. I drive a hyrbrid getting 55 mpg, If everyone did that we would be in a totally different place by now.
