We exited the "Little Ice Age" in the middle of the 1800's..

Earth's relative surface temperature rose quickly (few degrees) in historical terms in the late 1800's

Earths population in 1900.. ~1.7Billion

Earths surface temperature has risen slightly since that time.

Current population.. 7 Billion.

The remains of Tropical Storms from Hurricanes have sporadically made it to Southern California over the last 120 years of records, since the end of the Mini Ice Age in the late 1800's
