Well my current sport is yoga.

Which is not competitive.

And not really a sport.

Namaste. ;-)

I like gymnastics also but I much prefer to do sports than watch sports and I am rather old with issues in almost every part of my body except my right knee and left humerus (only a left humerus - I'm only half funny - get it?) and I don't have access to facilities so that makes the do rather difficult. No not that "do" I mean the other "do"!
And I can't conceive - not because of my age (drumroll) or fear of episiotomy (oh wait I'm a boy last I checked) - of Pilates every becoming a sport.
Pilates is too deep to be a sport.
Abs flexing?
"And let's have a replay of Duke's pelvic floor hold - it's doming up - it's amaaaaaaazing!" <- don't think that'll happen

Weightlifting - I'm mean the real stuff, not one where the boys and girls make their muscles all pretty and shiny and looking into mirrors - of yeah I'm too old for that, well at least the heavy stuff, jerking it over head. Well, it's cleaned first after playing with the snatch. Shush! You know what I mean!

Soccer - oh that's fun but with my eyesight I can't tell which team is which and I'd keep passing the ball to the wrong team.

Baseball - at my age I'd fall asleep, just like the audience.

Football - never mind unless I want suicide. Hip one, hup two - run away before they clobber my bones!

Basket ball - same problem with figuring who is on whose team.
At my age I do dribble pretty well though.

Lacrosse - oh please. (I'm making the Canadians angry here.)

Curling - hey we're talking sports here no? (All the Canadians here just clicked "next")

Ice hockey - no thanks, I still have most of my teeth. Besides all the Canadians have left in a huff.

Running - now you're talking, I just need someone to set my pace - optimal with a ponytail that swishes back and forth with each step and she shouldn't run too fast so that I can keep up.

Okay maybe I should just give up and watch the stuff on TV

Oh wait - I'll have to run to the store and lift the TV overhead and get it home.

Life isn't easy.

:-)
