The question of a stock split was raised at the"Ballard Seminar" held on December 1 in Abbotsford, BC. There was a comment about the stock being too pricy for many investors. The response was that the Board of Directors will be considering the issue prior to the next annual shareholder's meeting. (which is usually held in April). If the board decides to bring a proposal to the annual meeting, I would expect that an announcement would be made well in advance of the meeting. My best guess is that there probably will be a stock split.

Agree with your stock split idea...10 for 1 would be ideal.

Which funds exactly hold Ballard?? Again, judging from the lots traded, there were many trades under one board lot. Funds did not seem to be involved in today's trading, on the Buy or Sell side.
