If my neighbor goes out and racks up Credit Card debt, McMansion loan, 3 car loans and a boat loan, they are unleashing "economic growth" at the expense of unmanageable debt financing. Red States are managed conservatively. They don't spend their grandkids futures down the pike like most Blue States in debt financing to "unleash economic growth" and the Red States typically have low budget deficits, Life expectancy by state......bottom ten: one blue, one purple and 8 ruby red: en.wikipedia.org Educational attainment by state........bottom 10: 2 blue, 1 purple, and 7 ruby red en.wikipedia.org GDP per capita by state..........bottom 10: 2 blue, 1 purple, and 7 ruby red en.wikipedia.org Per capita income by state.........bottom ten: 1 blue, 1 purple and 8 ruby red en.wikipedia.org These ratings beg the question.........on what exactly do the red states spend their money and the largess they get from the federal gov't [excess revenues from blue states]? Clearly, its not to enhance the quality of life of their citizens. BTW if there was a ranking for the number of state citizens missing teeth......guess who would be in the bottom ten. ;)
