Being even briefly was the cue to get out of that idea (3x 7-10 year treasury--bear TYO) That is now trading for $19, and I think I marked it down at $21.45 awhile back when I thought it would be a good idea. The YTD return is said to be -19%, and I suppose I might have been stopped out at a loss of, say, 10%. -------------------- Biotech--I read a little essay in my Analog magazine about synthetic DNA the other day. I'm going to show that to my kid and maybe she will mention it to her biology teacher. It is on page 63 of the December issue, just an easy read for non-biotechies and kids.
