Tax corps like we did in the Eisenhower era.

That will really help employment in an era where job mobility is at an all time high. Using your logic... The beatings will continue until morale improves!

You said that corps distribute gains fairly, I say they don't. Facts are on my side. The chart shows that CEO compensation has skyrocketed ( along with all lesser paid executives ), while the wages of workers are stagnant or falling. Productivity gains are booked, but the extra money doesn't go to the producers. It IS a win-lose scenario.

Tax corps like we did in the Eisenhower era. If they want to be "people", they can damn well be taxed like them.

You really seem to hate and distrust corporate America. You don't seem to have an issue allowing governments to grow and usurp more and more power. Unfortunately, the same human emotions (i.e. greed, power, fear) that are present at the private sector level are even more energized, powerful, magnified at the government level.

As far as taxing corporations as you suggest, the reason that corporations are not hiring or investing is because of the uncertainty due to over-regulation and better investing environments over seas. A microcosm of the world you desire is Detroit and we see what 50 years of one party rule did there. Business and mobile residnets left. Capital flees even quicker.

I hear a lot of liberals talk about energy efficiency but efficiency is good for any endeavor as it insures sustainability. The best way to grow larger is to seek efficiencies.
