Margarita, glad to know you and your husband are doing something to improve your Investment positions while the stock is being battered hard; I always encourage people to accumulate shares while the stock is cheap with whatever means they can use, whether using new cash or trading short-term...Like in my wife's IRA, without Options or Shorting capability to be used to protect the stocks bought and with limited money to add to the account, I still managed to add 50 shares to the account by Day-trading for 3 days in a row... The advantage of the stock staying in the 20s (as opposed to the 30s) for a while is that whatever money we can eke out can buy more---it takes less than 3,000 dollars to acquire 100 shares!...Looking ahead months from now, the stock should be there---UP where it belongs...

I've been looking for some good values in this market ...

I too like to see stocks that are up on days when the market is
generally down. Especially if their fundamentals are in tact.
AMAT has been pulled down on many previous trading days. Likewise
with FORE. When I see fundamentals on track and generally depressed
trading levels and the stocks are going up, it gets my attention.

I can't see going wrong buying AMAT at this level for mid to long
term play. Watching this one with interest.

Tony.
