Either go full force into the elimination of ISIS, or declare that ISIS isn't a problem we need to solve. Very "digital" of you! Black or white. Unfortunately, the ME isn't a problem anyone can solve. It's a GRAY area. Often, both sides are bad guys, like Assad and ISIS. The enemy of your enemy ISN'T your friend! My hope is that Obama will continue to use air power, drone strikes, satellite intel, etc., to "degrade" ISIS, so the Kurds, Iraqis, Assad and others in the region can reduce them to impotence. None of the Islamic countries are backing ISIS, and many are committing resources to fight them. They don't want those nutters to grow to where they are a problem in their countries. ISIS is a good job for young, unemployed Islamic supporters. They pay $1500 a month US! Great pay for the region. But not worth being killed. That's what we need to convince them of. ISIS is more a threat to the Euros than to us, and they're meeting today to plot strategies. If THEY want to put boots on the ground, more power to them! Let's "lead from behind"! Message 29715030 ""Though it was announced yesterday that several Arab nations have agreed to join the fight against ISIS, with the BBC reporting that the anti-ISIS coalition now stands at about 40 countries including 10 Arab states , specifics remain in short supply. A BBC analyst describes a "scramble to craft a coherent plan from contributions offered" by the countries. The Wall Street Journal reports that while no officials have named which Mideast states might also conduct airstrikes, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, and Qatar likely have the ability to join the US campaign."
