"You want to blame someone, blame those that made the Distributors buy electricity at peak rate"

Them that lived went to jail; them that died first, straight to hell. It's very clear whom the justice system blamed.

The thing that broke the back of the scam occurred when Jim Jeffords switched parties and gave control of the Senate to the Dems, so that Lieberman could safely say, "We're gonna investigate Enron." Within about 3 days, prices started falling. How weird was that?

The Enron scandal, revealed in October 2001, eventually led to the bankruptcy of the Enron Corporation, an American energy company based in Houston, Texas, and the de facto dissolution of Arthur Andersen, which was one of the five largest audit and accountancy partnerships in the world.

"By September 2001, It was all over."

Thank you Jim Jeffords, and, gag me with a spoon, thank you, Joe Lieberman.
