I agree with the earlier comments about selling small cap stocks irregardless of fundamental valuations. I buy high growth, low P/E stocks, which typically are small and micro-cap. For most of my holdings that are down, the basic company story hasn't changed a bit.

I think that the selling is due to a general nervousness about the situation in Asia (greatly overblown), and end of year tax loss selling and profit taking.

Things should settle down after the first of '98.
